Dominican Republic: Winter 2022

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
We will be joining Dr. David and Raquel Lazo and Mike Silva International for a trip to Santiago, Dominican Republic. Connections with local churches make it so that this isn't a trip where we just come for a week and leave, but discipleship is carried on long after we are gone. We will be helping with water well projects, going into schools sharing the gospel, and inviting people to a huge festival at the end of the week. The festival draws people in with popular music artists and fun activities, but then the gospel is presented in a clear and culturally, relevant way with the opportunity for thousands to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

2. Start Fundraising
   • Create a login, and start sharing about your trip. Send your personal fundraising page link to friends, family, and anyone who follows you on social media.
3. Complete Travel Requirements
   • Submit all of your travel requirements online (ex. copy of passport, release forms, health information). We need a few things from you before you are ready to depart for your trip.
4. Attend Team Meetings
   • Make sure to attend every team meeting. This is where you will be equipped for anything that you will encounter on your missions trip, meet your team, and train together.
5. Go
   • Pack your bags, and set your alarm clock. We can hardly wait to spend the week together sharing the love of Jesus with others.
